In Berlin, a Temporary Museum Showcases Local Artists
Soumis par pascal beauchesne le lun, 06/04/2009 - 10:16The absence of the Palast der Republik – the former East Germany parliament building – has left a gaping hole on Schlossplatz, a square on eastern Berlin’s main thoroughfare, Unter den Linden.
But standing guard at the edge of the historical site is a blue-and-white prefab building that’s taken up residence here for a two-year stint.
Since it opened in late October 2008, the Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin (Temporary Art Hall Berlin) has made a mission of showcasing locally-based artists.
